“Garden Spirit Gnome” stands with his stripy hat of rustic colours. Painted by myself in watercolour with small pen details.
The traditional word for gnomes are Tomte. Saint Birgitta originally coined this term in the 1300s. Gnomes are a large part of Scandinavian culture and are thought to live up to 400 years.
Beloved Gnomes are wise, kind, and utterly charming.
