A little backstory...

I was raised in Scotland, surrounded by thistles, lush vegetation, and woodlands. Relocating to the United States as a young adult and transitioning to the dry desert landscape was a striking contrast that constantly inspires me. After that, I settled in Boise, Idaho, which still holds a special place in my heart.

Currently residing in Southern Utah among cacti, roadrunners, and stunning red mountains, my journey has been a botanical voyage. I am now enjoying merging the two environments together in my work. Over a decade ago I took an interest in painting watercolor on canvas and wooden panels which gives my collectors a modern and fresh way to display my work.

My mother has always been my biggest advocate in pursuing my artistic abilities, as she is also a very talented professional watercolorist. From a young age, she recognized my potential and encouraged me to explore it.

I have always found beauty in twigs, branches and general foliage that would usually be considered weeds. With a quill and ink I can capture the raw sharpness and imperfections of rustic nature. I love creating a new world with my paintings and delighted my work has resonated with collectors all over the world.
